Manuel holds an MSc in Electrical Engineering and a PhD in Nanotechnology from ETH Zurich, complemented by business studies at Imperial College London and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. With engineering experience at Avalon and ABB, he has been CEO of Optotune since 2008.
